Pomfret School is an independent, coeducational, college preparatory school in Connecticut. Mwendo Film Production Agency collaborated with Pomfret and Creosote Affects on two back-to-back video projects to create an Admission Campaign and Fundraising Films for their annual “Pomfret Day of Giving.” Our projects showcased Pomfret’s best assets: their students, teachers, staff, and community.
Fundraising Films
We crafted a two-part video series for Pomfret's record-breaking fundraising event, their Annual Day of Giving. The first film introduced donors to the school community in a light and engaging way, bringing in nostalgia. The second film took a deeper dive, fostering a powerful human connection that inspired significant giving.

ADMISSION CAMPAIGN
Pomfret’s students, faculty, and campus radiate warmth, fun, and a welcoming environment. Our job was to bring everything that makes Pomfret exceptional into a relatable, energizing, and slice-of-life video series to ensure newly accepted students want to call Pomfret home. Utilizing cinematic video production, we developed a custom camera rig to create a social media-style selfie acceptance film and a four-part series of human-to-human interviews that represented how life would look as a student.
The Admission Campaign shed light on the community and family at Pomfret. Hundreds of newly accepted students saw the acceptance video and the human-to-human films to help them decide to attend Pomfret.
